WAMU 88.5’s new “What’s With Washington?” project investigates the cultural quirks and mysteries of Maryland, Virginia and D.C. by exploring questions submitted by listeners. For our third installment, we’re tackling a question posed by a listener named Alisa. She asks, “Why do Washington audiences seem so subdued? Are we really cooler customers than in other cities?”
We want to hear from you. Have you noticed that crowds at D.C. concerts seem restrained compared to audiences you’ve experienced elsewhere? Do you have an anecdote that would help us answer this question? Fill out our questionnaire, below. If you grant us permission to contact and/or quote you, your insights may become a part of our story.
