Loves Dilla showcase, De La Soul’s 25th anniversary party at Howard Theatre Saturday, and Salt N Pepa’s stop at Verizon Center Sunday. It also happens to be a great week for earwormy pop ensembles: Bandwidth video stars Phox perform at The Hamilton Saturday, Glasgow pop geniuses Camera Obscura (above) play 9:30 Club Friday, and Philly’s Cheers Elephant headline DC9 with support from locals The Jackfields Thursday. But if you want to see two rising acts in D.C.’s punk-rock scene, don’t miss Priests at Fort Reno Thursday and Olivia Neutron-John in Arlington on Saturday.
