The sound board was awful– zero nuance, poor exhibition of Lykke Li’s vocals, loud at the expense of detail. She didn’t seem comfortable or particularly invested in the performance, and why should she? Dozens of jackasses showed complete disrespect by immediately ignoring her request to put away their phones. In short, not a great performance + not a great crowd = no connection between performer and audience and an ultimately disappointing experience.
