With the switch to a 305 pound power wheelchair I don’t get to as many indie gigs as I used to in my manual. My favorite moment was being carried down a curving set of stairs for San Francisco house concert. They grumbled but did it anyway. Here north of the Golden Gate Bridge, Sonoma County, most of the venues have some kind of access. My current gripe is new, multi-million dollar facilities where I can’t see the stage when everyone stands. Many big places have corrected this, but not all.
