They learned we got the highest ratings possible one year, yet we still didn’t get a showcase. We did, however, pay the submission fee, and that was the last time. To bands who have the wherewithal to tour but not get decent showcases, consider booking dates on the coasts during SXSW; WAY less competition for the dates you want.
